Recreational activities a benefit to entire community

The Pelham Community Centre promises to have a significant positive impact on the Town of Pelham and the larger Niagara region. Several community groups have already expressed interest in making use of the new facilities including the municipality, Pelham Minor Hockey, Niagara Centre Skating Club, Pelham Panthers Hockey, Faith Tabernacle Hockey, several Old-timers’ leagues, and the Fonthill and District Kinsmen.

Pelham council gives nod to $36.2-million twin-pad centre

It’s official: Pelham will build a $36.2-million multi-use community centre with two arenas. By a 5-2 vote, town council Monday night supported a design for a twin ice pad and dual-gymnasium centre with a large multipurpose room and walking track. See details on the St. Catharines Standard website
